African cities are forecast to see some of the fastest population growth rates globally through to 2035.

EIU forecasts Africa’s top 100 cities—Africa100, incorporating cities with a population greater than 1m in 2035 as well as smaller capitals—to be home to about 21% of the continent’s population and generate more than 60% of Africa’s GDP by 2035.
